HD Bridge Span
Meanwhile… Out at Hoover Dam. Last week they finished pouring concrete for the span on the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge. Now they start the building of the roadway.
Over 2,000 feet from one side to the other. Four lanes of interstate style roadway. The challange has been to build stability of the roadway while handling severe wind gusts and earthquakes.
Did you know that this bridge is part of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)?? This is part of the highway project that connects Canada to Mexico.
