Oscar and Me
The most famous and effective marketing strategy Las Vegas has going for itself is it’s Mayor. That would be the one and only Oscar B Goodman, former Mob attorney.
This week he awarded one of the members of our Guild the title of Tour Guide of the Decade. And while there, I had this moment with the happiest mayor in all the world.
Sorry, I am best in the moment with a group around me. Staged pictures just don’t do it for me. That and I am missing my hat.
The Mayor’s office is a shrine to all things Oscar. You can not believe all the things in it that are dedicated to him. Although the strip is not part of the city, he considers it his duty to market Las Vegas as a whole and just about everybody accepts that.

I am Mark Anthony welcome to my new and improved website. Nothing has changed except the layout. Still here providing excellent service to my clients while delivering educational, informative and entertaining tours to my guests.
My specialty is the west coast and Las Vegas. This means almost anywhere from the Canadian Rockies to Copper Canyon Mexico and everything in between. From small private tours to multi-bus tours.
As a Tour Director, you will find that I am experienced, well informed and easy to work with. Most will say I am very low maintenance. Very flexible and easy to accommodate special needs or requests. I can handle most situations with ease, keeping things calm and with a professional attitude.
As a Tour Guide, your guests will find that I am easy to get along with, informative, knowledgeable and fun to travel with. I am a good problem solver and keep everyone organized and on time.
My Groups Tours have included the Canadian Rockies, San Francisco, the National Parks. Many tours around Los Angeles, Hollywood and on to San Diego. Even into the beautiful Copper Canyon Mexico. Of course I am well versed in the Las Vegas area including; Death Valley, Grand Canyon, West Rim skywalk, Valley of Fire, etc..
My Passion is in Tourism. This is not just a job for me. I love being a Tour Director and sharing my love for the areas we travel to with the people I meet. When I am not out touring with a group, you will often find me working within the tourism field. Helping out other tour professionals with marketing and management, writing or speaking about travel and tourism or just out learning more about the areas that I visit.
