West Coast Tour

On a recent West Coast Tour, we had one of the best days I ever witnessed in San Fransisco weather. Fog-less.  Hard to believe, I know…

From the top of Twin Peaks to the Golden Gate Bridge, up to Alamo Park and even from America’s crookedest street (Lombard), not a hint of fog or rain.  Nothing but sunshine and puffy, camera friendly clouds.

That all changed when we headed for Yosemite National Park.  here it is, the middle of May and we  hit snow, ice and freezing rain.   In fact the road to the Mariposa groves was closed to due to  icy conditions and related accidents.

Four Day Canyon Tours

My 2010 open tour season begins with a tour for photo bugs.  The May 11, 2010 Four Day Canyon Tour will be dedicated to photographers.

This is a chance for amateur and professional photographers to get together for fun and some amazing photo opportunities as we visit the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park

My usual tour will be accented with tips for photographers, special stops specifically for the best camera shots and narration directed at photography.

We will include some evening events for photographers to get together, swap stories and share their experiences.

Including a chance for some canyon sunrise or sunset shots and photo hikes on and in the canyons.

The tour will include a tour of Monument Valley with a Navajo guide and possible a chance to shoot a rodeo like the media.

All of the information can be found at http://fourdaycanyontour.com and book the May 11 tour.

Hope to see you there
